Imara Roose Inc. is a holistic, inclusive, and transformative mentoring program that assists high school girls with actualizing and maximizing their greatness—personally, academically, and professionally—by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and social capital necessary to break through systemic barriers to equitable access and opportunity, ultimately changing their trajectory.
INFO SESSION
We’re hosting our first virtual info session THIS THURSDAY, July 9th, 7PM-7:45PM. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how we do it, as well as how you can get involved. Register by July 7th, ImaraRoose.org/events, we’ll email the Zoom info.
IMPACT
From 2012-2016, we hosted over 250 workshops, facilitated 10 field trips, and impacted over 100 black and brown girls! Learn more through the testimony below!
ALUMNI INSIDER
We pride ourselves on our diverse group of alumni who can speak first hand about the impact that Imara Roose has made in their lives. On July 23rd from 7PM-7:45PM we will be hosting our first virtual Alumni Insider. During the panel, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from former mentees and mentors. FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
We’re still working towards raising the $25,000 needed to operate at no cost to our mentees—we need your support, consider making a financial or in-kind donation today!

IN-KIND DONATIONS: We’re looking for individuals, local businesses, and corporations to donate items (i.e., gift cards, merchandise, etc.) and services that can be used in our fundraising efforts and to reduce our operating budget . Click here. .
